Matt Luczkow was born a true O.G. in Boston in 1987. A year later his family moved to beautiful Vail, Colorado(thank God). Matt's father is an avid skier and taught him all he knew at a young age. Matt's youth was spent enjoying the outdoors, skipping class to go skiing, and being generally weird. Matt was a racer in Ski Club Vail for several years, but after seeing Seth Morrison huck his carcass in Ski Movie, he knew what he wanted to do with his life. He quit racing his first year of high school and decided to have fun with skiing and be a hardcore dude. Now Matt is one of the youngest competitors on the World Freeskiing Tour. He is also featured in Warren Miller's next movie and has been in Skiing, Freeskier, and Powder magazines.

One of Matt's passions is filming and many of his videos are available online. Another passion of Matt's is the progression of backcountry skiing. Bringing tricks to new places on the mountain, using terrain in creative ways, and pushing what can be done on skis is Matt's mission. Keep an eye out for this kid anywhere there is powder and the chance to get upside down.
