2.5 Layer A waterproof breathable system consisting of 2.5 unique layers. First the outer shell, then the waterproof/breathable laminate, then a 'half' layer consisting of printed dots raising the fabric off the skin for a more comfortable, less clammy feel.
4 point adjustable hood A technical hood should work in a variety of conditions. 4 Point hoods adjust left and right around your face, volume to accommodate a helmet, and peripheral vision adjustment. A hood should fit and move with your head even when the jacket is unzipped.
700 Fill down Down is measured by volume per ounce. Warmth is achieved by creating loft. The higher the number the loftier or 'warmer' each ounce of down will be. Warmer per ounce means an overall lighter piece but as warm as or warmer than heavier pieces.

Airport Organizer Everything you need to deal with TSA and Customs right where you need it. Quick access to you Ticket and Passport/I.D. The organizer also offers a large pocket to dump your change, watch, wallet and small electronics into while you wait in line.
Base-Layer This next to skin layer is usually made from a moisture wicking synthetic or merino wool material. No Cotton! This layer is the primary defense against 'wet chills' after and during activity. It provides a light but warm and dry layer against your body.
Bonded Bonding allows for stitch free construction. Ideally suited for the addition of pockets and such, it adds less weight than stitching, limits punctures caused by sewing and is a more environmentally sound method of production.
Drop Seat A zippered panel in the back of a pant or bib. Allows for 'taking care of business' without having to untie or remove your climbing harness. Safety first, but also added comfort by limiting the 'exposure' to weather.
End terminating Pit Zips Pit Zips with 2 zipper sliders. The sliders are positioned are the ends of the zipper as opposed to the center. This allows you to 'micro-vent' and open either the whole pit zip or just a specific section.
eVENT The most breathable of all waterproof/breathable membranes. eVENT is the benchmark of breathable performance. This technology differs greatly from others in that is it a Dry Venting system meaning unlike others it works from the moment you put it on.

Hardshell Hard Shells are the most common type of jacket. Usually made of woven synthetic fibers, with or without mechanical stretch. Often referred to as the most storm impervious type of shell. Hardshell jackets and pants offer great protection and durability.
High Position Pockets Main pockets located mid torso. Doubling as core vents when open, this type of pocket are often call 'Harness Compatible'. They stay out of the way and remain usable when wearing a climbing harness, a pack waist belt, or backpack shoulder straps.
Internal Gaiter Internal Gaiters stop snow and debris from entering you lower legs and boots by creating an inner seal. Velcro adjustable and invisible to the outside the internal gaiter is a must have for snow sports.
IT2 Down Down is measured by volume per ounce. Warmth is achieved by creating loft. The higher the number the loftier or 'warmer' each ounce of down will be. IT2 down is a blend of fill powers no lower than 600 fill power.
Laser Cutting Laser cutting fabrics is a more environmentally sustainable fabrication method. Much more precise than shear or compression cutting it creates less waste and maximizes fabric usage. Bonded, Sew Free, and Fabric welding make the most of this technology.
Low Position Pockets Traditional hand pocket placement. They provide a comfortable more natural feel when skiing and or cruising around town.

Nano-sphere A permanent treatment bonded to the surface of each independent fiber mimicking insect wings and the lotus leaf. It makes the fiber unable to host dirt. In other words, it is dirt, oil, mud water and grease resistant.

Power Dry an extremely breathable, moisture wicking synthetic material. As a baselayer it retains body warmth and dissipates moisture. This midweight material has a micro check backing increasing surface area and air flow to speed drying time.
Primaloft one As the premiere synthetic insulation maker Primaloft engineered One. It is the lightest and most compressible fiber they make. Perhaps as close to down as you can get without plucking a bird. Stays warm when wet, dries quick.
Schoeller C_Change All the stretch and comfort of a softshell and the storm protection of hardshell. Not it is not a compromised hybrid, it is the only true waterproof/breathable softshell out there. The bio-mechanic pores open and close based on temperature and humidity.
Schoeller Dryskin A double cloth with outstanding moisture transport. Quick drying, breathable, lightweight, abrasion resistant, durable and permanently elastic.

Sew Free Fabric Welding In some of our products we use Radio Frequency or Ultra Sonic Welding technologies.. The process eliminates stitching, thereby reducing weight and stitch holes. It makes for a lighter and more waterproof product.
